Features

• PGA2311 version 10 with Panasonic relays
• BB PGA2311 - brand new volume control chip, with internal resistive attenuator network, where under 0dB, the internal OPAMP is not activated, and where over 0dB, the OPAMP starts to work.
• Board settings: -95dB to +31dB, 1dB step
• AC 8V-12Vac input
• Fully regulated with On-Semicon 3-pin regulators. Digital section is powered by MC7805 separately for lowest interference. 
• Digital and analog supplies are decoupled by Philips 104 decoupling capacitors for better noise isolation/separation
• Separate IC for digital and relays control.
• STC15 series of controller is used, with off-power memory storage
• Uses original Panasonic TQ2 relays, lowering the signal loss
• Remote power off module is available for purchase
• Controller board and display board can be connected physically or via cable
• Paired with high quality ALU remote control

Operating instructions:

• Rotate left/right - volume control
• Short press  - channel switch
• Long press (3s) - power ON/OFF
• Long press (10s) - reset to default values
• Short press (during off) - power ON
• Remote - V+/0: volume, CH+/-: channel switch, Power: on/off, DSP: display current input, Mute: mute.
• 0dB = direct through
• Input: CH1, CH2, CH3, CH4

• Bundled with full aluminum remote control

• Volume / channel settings - memorized even if power is disconnected  
• Relays are digitally micro-controller controlled

Instructions/functions

• On/off, volume up/down, mute, channel switching, and etc
• Long pole digital switch / decoder - rotate left/right for volume, short press for channel switching, long press for power on/off (needs a separately power on/off module)
• Logic control board can be separated with the display board, attenuator board can be separated with the channel switching board, both being connected by interconnect wires (flexible)
• AC 12V supply, 4 relays for 4 channel switching, 7 relays for 128 steps volume control, with 0.5dB steps, totalling to 63.5dB attenuation
• Display board (with the logic control) - 100mm x 32mm.
• Attenuator board - 100mm x 36mm
• Signal switching board - 55mm x 36mm

Q&A

Q: Does it have noise or AC hum?
A: It has been optimized several times. No noise or AC hum.

Q: Is the attenuation smooth?
A: Yes, with LOG scale and 0.5dB steps, absolutely smooth transitions

Q: Does it have pops?
A: Due to the mechanical configuration, there is 1 step with a very short and minor pop, which is absolutely acceptable. 

Q: Is the relay good?
A: Yes. It is imported from Japan high quality TQ2 relays.

Q: Is the remote control good?
A: Yes. The touch and feel are excellent.
